Successful machine handover at ISM 2024: Hänsel Processing hands over Lab+ jelly and gum cooking system to ZDS
At the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (ISM) 2024, Hänsel Processing successfully handed over a machine to the Central College of the German Confectionery Industry (ZDS).
On this occasion, Heiko Kühn, Managing Director of Hänsel Processing, and Andreas Bertram, Managing Director of ZDS, met to officially hand over the Lab+ jelly and gum cooking system.
The integration of this modern system into the ZDS confectionery technology center makes a significant contribution to the training of future confectionery specialists from the industry.
The ZDS is the training and further education institute for the confectionery industry and organizes more than 50 seminars per year. It attracts an international audience from over 30 different countries every year, who benefit from this new facility. This system enables the seminar participants to gain practical experience and work on the machine directly on site.
The continuous Lab+ jelly and gum cooking system is characterized above all by its versatility, as it is suitable for all common gelling agents. Equipped with the proven JellyStar stove, it offers the possibility of achieving throughputs of 8-16 kg/h.
These low throughputs make the system particularly attractive for operation in the pilot plant, as the raw material input can be kept correspondingly low.
We would like to thank Hänsel Processing for the system and look forward to being able to use this system in our technical center together with our seminar participants!
