Farewell and presentation of master craftsman’s certificate at ZDS Solingen
On January 24, 2025, the ceremonial farewell of the participants of the preparatory course for the industrial master confectionery and industrial master food took place at the ZDS Solingen. The ZDS graduation certificates and the coveted IHK master craftsman certificates were presented in a dignified setting.
Guests at the event included Ms. Bartl-Zorn (Managing Director for Training and Further Education, Examination Policy and Education at the Bergische IHK) and Ms. Vetter (Consultant at the Bergische IHK), numerous lecturers, representatives of the examination board as well as family members and friends of the graduates. The event was hosted by the principal of the ZDS, Ms. Medicke.
The 20 participants of the preparatory course first received their final certificates from Ms. Medicke. Ms. Bartl-Zorn then ceremoniously handed over the IHK master craftsman certificates: 10 graduates were named industrial master confectioners, while 4 participants had successfully completed the master craftsman examination for industrial master foodstuffs. The three best graduates of the year received special recognition:
- Best of the year: Mr. Decker (Vivil company)
- Mr. Pietrowski (Upfield company)
- Mr. Kalb (Company Lebkuchen Schmidt)
Ms. Bartl-Zorn gave the keynote speech and emphasized the importance of the master craftsman qualification for the food and confectionery industry. Together with Ms. Medicke, Ms. Vetter and all the lecturers, she congratulated the graduates on their outstanding success.
After the official part of the event, the graduates toasted their achievements and celebrated together in a convivial atmosphere.
